"As a part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system, Red River Technology Center continually strives to stay on the cutting edge of technology education. Red River currently offers 14 daytime programs, over 40 short-term programs and has recently added over 250 instructor-led on-line courses to its schedule. High school students residing in any of Red River’s 12 partner districts can attend the Tech Center for free. Some adults interested in attending may qualify for financial aid or scholarships.
Red River Technology Center students may also be eligible to receive up to 30 hours of college credit, from partner colleges, while enrolled in certain Tech Center programs. Partner schools include: Murray State College, Western Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee. Red River also offers local businesses state-of-the-art training through the Business and Industry Services Center. Training is currently available in five areas: Bid Assistance; Safety, Health and Environmental Services; Industrial Coordination; and, Business Development Services. Training programs at the Business and Industry Services Center are constantly growing and evolving with industry needs. New programs are constantly being developed to insure our community businesses have the training needed to stay on the cutting edge." |
